How Online English lessons work
I give English lessons online through Skype, with video calls. This is like being in the same room with a private tutor, as you can talk and see each other in real time. This is great for conversation practice and language discussion – and it makes it easy to share extra material, such as pictures and video from the internet.

Skype lessons are useful for speaking and listening skills. When you study with me as a private tutor, you can practice your English with a native speaker, wherever you are in the world. You can hear English as it is spoken in England, and I will provide live feedback for your own speaking, including pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar tips.

You will practice reading skills as we use new worksheets and real English texts, and you can practice writing skills between lessons. The content on my lessons usually focuses on grammar, and using English accurately and effectively, so we will explore exactly why English speakers use the language the way they do, and how you can this knowledge to improve your own English.
My online tuition fits your needs, though; whatever skills you wish to focus on, we will. This could mean as much or as little English language discussion as you want. We could simply talk for the whole lesson, or we could do advanced lessons in grammar.
